Vowlá is seeking a Senior Copywriter who will contribute to the company’s growth by expertly and efficiently creating content across all of the brand’s platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating and consuming digital content and a passion for writing both long and short format content. S/he will be personable, efficient and a high performer in a fast-paced, dynamic company environment and will be responsible for writing and editing content for our for marketing initiatives, contribute to create and maintain a cohesive brand voice, and deepening engagement with our customers.

This position reports to the VP of Content and Creative. The responsibilities and duties of this position described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.


- Write and edit playful copy for a variety of channels, including email, website, product descriptions, mobile push, paid, in-studio signage and more
- Self-editing and copyediting to align with the Vowlá brand voice
- Work with the other team members of the Marketing team to understand and contribute to the Vowlá vision for community engagement
- Partner effectively with a cross-department team (PR, Social, Web Production, RMM’s, Field Ops, Creative, Legal, Production, Finance, Retail, etc.) to ensure campaigns and projects are cohesive, elevated, and well-executed
- Bring new content ideas and formats of storytelling to Vowlá
- Contribute to the management of weekly/monthly editorial calendars
- Collaborate with a variety of departments to deliver copy that is customized for that team’s initiative
- Partner with Marketing Operations and Creative to input into asset creation planning and plan for annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly content deliverables (and marketing shoots)


- Must have a degree from a four year accredited university or college
- 5+ years of experience in creating digital content
- A knack for good storytelling and conversational writing
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to turn around tight, smart, accurate copy while meeting daily deadlines
- Excels at time-management and triaging an ever-changing priority list
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills - verbal and written
- Must be knowledgeable of customer service principles and practices to represent Vowlá well
- Needs to be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Mail on a Mac platform
- A natural problem solver with a can-do, positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with a wide range of internal departments
- Able to create high-quality, of-the-moment content
- Adaptable by nature and comfortable working under pressure
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to adhere to deadlines
- Ability to take feedback with grace and professionalism, and always come back with something better
