Vowlá is seeking an Operations Manager, Talent who will contribute to the company growth by expertly and efficiently project managing talent department initiatives and operationalizing talent strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the Vowlá culture and brand and have a track record of identifying opportunity, effectively communicating with multiple departments, and thrives in a fast paced environment.  S/he will be personable, efficient and a high performer in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing company environment.

This position reports to the VP of Talent Operations. The responsibilities and duties of this position described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.


Project Management; Innovation
- Partners with the Director of Talent Acquisition and Program Development and the Director of Instructor Training to project manage and execute operating plan initiatives related to class innovation and brand extension innovation
- Is a stakeholder in the Vowlá growth strategy operation, and executes action items in alignment with infrastructure growth related to class experience innovation
- Works with multiple departments to communicate innovation and impact updates in a timely manner; and works alongside PR/Marketing/Field Operations to roll out new initiatives
- Manages internal innovation requests and ideas across the organization
- Manages Innovation Council and subsequent initiatives, projects, meetings
- Instructor Training Innovation and Operations
- Partners with the Instructor Programming and Instructor Development teams to execute opportunities and manage logistics for intensive class innovation training in existing and/or new markets
- Partners with the Level 1 Training Team to operationally regionalize and innovate the existing Level 1 Training Program, and develops standard operating procedures
- Partners with the Level 1 Training team to develop content on the Wheel for instructor trainees
- Partners with the Instructor Development team to develop and oversee execution of Quarterly Wheel Content and Development Creation Roadmaps
- Executes and Project Manages new and existing Instructor Development Offerings and Logistics; such as Instructor Officer Training Summits, Development Programs (Legend), Trainings for Instructors that fall within Operations scope, etc.
- Helps to measure effectiveness of ID2 Program and works with ID2 team to innovate offerings
- Acts as an operations stakeholder for the Instructor Development Team (addends monthly Officer meetings, weekly Development meetings)
- Creates and regularly updates standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to instructor operations


- Manages all instructor operations communication and content creation
- Submits weekly wrap-ups and project management status presentations
- Creates presentations for the executive team related to project status and updates regularly
- Develops business cases to propose new initiatives on behalf of the Talent Dept
- Secures and manages budget related to class innovation and brand extension
- Sets and communicates weekly priorities for the innovation and development teams
- Creates standard operating procedures to ensure consistency, and creates and uploads content regularly to The Wheel
- Works in alignment with and supports the Director of Instructor Acquisition & Integration, Director of Instructor Training and the Director of Instructor Development to execute projects and new processes


Bachelor's degree required
- Knowledge and passion for the wedding industry
- Strong project management skills; proven record of project execution
- Proficiencies with Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management Software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2+ years management experience
- Knowledge and passion for the Vowlá brand
- Advanced PowerPoint and executive level presentation skills is required
- Personal passion for event planning and/or the Vowlá brand
